By Peter P. Bud “author of How To Be A Best Sell… (Canandaigua, NY) – The Garmin – nüvi 1450lmt gps works much better than my 3-year-old Garmin GPS. With the Lifetime Map and Traffic updates and the 5″ display screen, it is easier to get around. Even the new features, Lane Assist, Junction View and being able to see not only the speed I am going, but also what the posted speed limit is has been a tremendous improvement.

By Allen Cain (Brentwood, TN USA) The Garmin nüvi 1450lmt is fantastic for company vehicles. The size fits perfectly on the dashboards and having the Lane Assist feature is really a plus. You know which lane you should be in, or not be in, and this helps avoid problems, especially on busy interstates/expressways where you don’t want to have to change lanes at the last minute to get to your exit. Additionally, we’ve saved a lot in traffic tickets by having the current speed and the posted speed limit displayed, found out that the speedometers in some of the vehicles were not as accurate as we thought. The 1450lmt also has the “where am I” feature, which has come in handy on some occasions. The Garmin 1450lmt is an excellent value.

By H. Nasser “defbee” (TN) Having tried other brands, Tomtom, Magellan, I found that the Garmin 1450LMT works better at reception. I was able to get full bars inside of the house, the other two couldn’t. If you happen to go off-route, the recalculating of the Garmin 1450LMT is very quick. I believe I have finally found a GPS system I am happy with.

By Julius Kovatch (Roseville, California USA) Being able to store up to 10 routes on the Garmin nüvi 1450lmt have been great. It makes it easy to plan a trip. Also, having the Mapsource software on the PC makes planning a trip even better. Being able to route the trip the way I want to go and then save it and download it into the nüvi 1450 is a big plus. Also by using the computer to work the routes, you can upload any previously saved trips onto the computer from the Garmin. I can definitely recommend the 1450lmt to anybody.
